In this Jungian Archetypal system, developed by Charles Bebeau,  there are 12 archetypes, which relate to the Zodiac.  Each archetype is associated with part of the human body and certain dream images.  Everyone has approximately 4-5-6 archetypes.  You can discover these archetypes by looking at your astrological chart.  You can also discover these archetypes by relating the characteristic of the archetype, the part of the body or the dreams associated with it to yourself.

The Golden Child relates to Leo.

I can relate to this Archetype as I am a Leo and I love the Sun.  My son is also a Leo, his call sign as a Navy Pilot is Golden.

Idealist

Illustrated by Sarah Trumpp

The Idealist is a rather eccentric, exotic person, who accepts people of all races, religions, cultures and sexual orientation.  They value their freedom.  Dreams of flying would characterize this archetype.  Is this one of your archetypes?  Remember everyone has 4-5-6 different archetypes, not only determined by the Sun sign, but also the Moon, Rising sign and any planets in conjunction with those 3 big Rulers.  The Idealist is associated with Aquarius and ruled by Uranus.  For more information on Jungian Archetypal Psychology Made Easy by Theresa Bauer, go to www.authorhouse.com.

Nourishing Mother

21 Jan

Illustrated by Sarah Trumpp

Nourishing Mother builds home, is ruled by the Moon and relates to the sign of Cancer.

Communicator

21 Jan

Illustrated by Sarah Trumpp.  The Communicator relates to Gemini and is ruled by Mercury (Mercury also rules Virgo).  The Communicator typically has a lot of nervous energy; is very verbal, talks fast and uses  hands to emphasize what s/he is saying.   The Communicator uses all forms of communication: talking, writing, the computer, telephone, etc.  The communicator is a gatherer and diseminater of information. S/he isn’t particularly concerned about the content of the information, compared to to Saggitaurus or Teacher/Traveler, which is opposite of Gemini on the Astrological Wheel.  Teacher/Traveler is more of a philospher, a deeper thinker.   This is not meant to devalue the Communicator; all the Archeypes have their strengths.  Also we all have 4-5-6 archetypes that can be determined from the Astrological Chart.  See www.authorhouse.com for Jungian Archetypal Psychology Made Easy by Theresa Bauer, LPC, CAC III available in paperback or e-book.
